Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the Luna Park Chalk Art Festival usually attracts over 3,000 artists, students, vendors, and community members for a colorful day in San José’s Backesto Park.
Artists, students and chalk enthusiasts create pieces of diverse art wherever they are in the world, including original works, classical recreations, traditional Italian madonarri street painting, 3D realistic works, cartoons, modern abstractions, and more.
Stop by and say, "Aloha," while artists & volunteers from Illustrative Voices create a chalk mural that highlights how Bay Area culture & communities have been impacted by social inequities and social justice!
While we recognize masks are optional in Santa Clara County, we continue to encourage all guests to wear a mask and adhere to the mask requirements set by our respective organization/business partners while visiting their establishment.
